Mrs. Susan A Lentz, 84, Fayetteville R.1, died at the Chambersburg Hospital Saturday at 9:40 a.m. from the infirmities of age. She had been admitted as a patient November 25.
Mrs. Lentz was the widow of Isaac Lentz, who died August 11, 1944. She was born in Adams County and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy (Carbaugh) Shoemaker. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Buchanan Valley.
Surviving are these children; Clarence, Biglerville R1; George, Smithsburg, Md.; Mrs. Harry Sollenberger, Chambersburg; Mrs. Francis Kane, Guernsey; Mrs. Albert Stamger. Chambersburg; Mrs. Arthur Parr, Orrtanna R1; Mrs. Paul Martz, Cashtown; Mrs. James Rebert, McSherrystown, and James, Fayetteville R1. There are 35 Grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. One sister survives, Mrs. Sarah Baker, Orrtanna RD.
Requiem mass at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Buchanan Valley, Thursday morning at 10:00 the Rev. Fr. Louis Yeager officiating. Interment in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
