Mrs. Mary Parr, wife of George A Parr, died at her home in Hanover on last Saturday, following an illness of less than a week from pneumonia. She was a daughter of Isaiah and Susan Lentz and was born in Franklin township, Adams County. She is survived by her husband, to whom she was married
Feb. 4, 1915, and an infant daughter, Mary Josephine, aged 5 days. Also by her parents, who reside at McKnightstown, Adams county, and the following brothers and sisters; Clarence of Cashtown, George of Hancock, Md., Mrs. Harry Sollenberger of Chambersburg; Miss Eva of Hanover, Misses Mae, Alice, Rosella, Helen and James at home. The body was taken to McKnightstown on Wednesday morning and a mass of requiem was observed in St. Ignatius Church, Buchanan Valley, by Rev. P.F. Sullivan. Interment in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
