OBITUARY :
GEORGE A. LENTZ, SR., 82, formerly of Rouzervllle, died Monday morning at Homewood Church Home in Williamsport, Md., after a long illness.

He was the widower of Mrs. Lelia Barton Lentz.

He was born near Orrtanna, Pa., a son of Isaac H. and Susan Shoemaker Lentz, and had lived in Adams County, Pa. and Hancock, Md.

He had been an orchard worker and had managed the F.H. Ingram Orchards in Smithsburg, Md., until his retirement in 1955. He was a member of Church of the Apostles United Church of Christ; James. W. Bowers Lodge No. 173, A.F. & A.M. of Hancock; Fraternal Order of Eagles in Gettysburg, Pa.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Foster Overmale of Hagerstown, and Mrs. Robert Lentz of Ephrata, Pa.; and two sons, Harold I. Lentz of Rouzerville, and George A. Lentz, Jr. of Rt. 4, Waynesboro; five sisters, Mrs. Arthur Parr of Fayetteville, Mrs. Francis Kane of Biglerville, Mrs. Albert Stinger of Chambersburg, Mrs. Helen Reppert of McSherrystown, Mrs. Paul Martz of Cushtown; one brother James Lentz of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m Wednesday at the Grove Funeral Home in Waynesboro. The Rev. Stuart Troutman will officiate. Burial will be in the Harbaugh Church Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
