John Graham passed away at his home in Verden, OK, Friday, June 14, 1935, at the age of 74. He had been ill for several months. Funeral services were held at Verden Methodist Church with Rev. Giles officiating. Burial was made in the Verden Cemetery. Committal services were conducted by the Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Graham came to Oklahoma in early days from Missouri. He came here from Calumet, OK. Surviving members of the family are the widow, Ola Graham; three sons, George, Cecil and Frank; three daughters, Allie Maupin, Susie Talkington and Fern "Jimmy" Graham. Three children preceded him in death, a baby daughter, Bettie, and Mary who died recently May 10, 1935, in WI, and brought here for burial. The Verden News June 21, 1935
