Mrs. Dekinder was born the daughter of a prominent pioneer family, John and Ola (Allen) Graham Nov. 30, 1914 and died Wednesday in Oklahoma City following an extensive illness. She married John Dekinder and during World War II, followed him to different Army bases. While he was overseas, she returned to Oklahoma City and was employed by the John A. Brown Company. In the early 1950's, she began working at Tinker Air Force Base where she retired. She was a member of the Midwest Boulevard Baptist Church. She was affectionately called Jimmie 'D' by her friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include one sister, Susie Miller of Verden; and a long-time friend, Velma Watson of Midwest City.
Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Chickasha under the direction of the Brown-Binyon Funeral Home.
