Mrs. Indiana Chittum Hostetter, 88, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, March 3, 1984 at Liberty Nursing Home in Clifton Forge. Mrs. Hostetter was born April 7, 1895 in Rockbridge County as the daughter of the late Andrew Chittum and Catherine Hostetter. Preceeded in death by her husband, John H. Hostetter, she is survived by one daughter Mrs. Maynard Greene of Route 1, Buena Vista; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. The Rev. Conley McMullen conducted funeral services, Tuesday, March 6, at 2 p.m. at the Lomax Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in the Concord Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
