Death certificate number 315

She had tuberculosis and was treated at home for some time. She died at the age of 15.

Clipping from the scrapbooks of Agnes Berg Rhode:
Death of O. A. Berg's Daughter.
Miss Linda Adela Berg, aged 15 years, two months, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her parents, County Commissioner and Mrs. O. A. Berg, Twenty-second avenue West, of consumption. The funeral will take place from the family residence at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, and the interment will be at the London road cemetery. Miss Berg was beloved by a wide circle of friends.

Obituary found pasted in the Bible of her mother, Grethe Olyne Haaden Berg:
In the passing away of Linda Berg, it seems befitting that one who knew her, as one of the loveliest characters in life, should endeavor to write a few lines to her memory. Although in the grasp of that dread disease, consumption, for one year, and suffering nearly all the time, not a word of complaint or dissatisfaction passed her lips. Hers was a spirit of sweet resignation, and she bore her cross of pain with a saint-like meekness. She awaited the end with a calmness and Christian fortitude surprising in one so young, and when the summons came fell
"Asleep in Jesus - blessed sleep -
From which none ever wake to weep."
- Communicated.
