J. WOLFMEYER DIES, AGE 67
Heart Attack Fatal To Retired Brillion Cheesemaker
John Wolfmeyer, 67, retired cheesemaker and storekeeper, died at his home at Brillion Monday afternoon following a heart attack. He had been in poor health for some time. Funeral services will be held Thursday from the Methodist church at Brillion and burial will be made in the Brillion cemetery.
Born in Calumet County Aug 3, 1868, Mr. Wolfmeyer was married in 1891 to Emma Bastian, Brillion, who survives. He operated a store and cheese factory about three miles north of Brillion for 35 years, retiring eight years ago when his son Alvin, took over the business. He had lived at Brillion since his retirement.
Survivors besides his widow include three daughters, Mrs. Edward Kreiman, Mrs. Ben Zick and Mrs. Harvey Schnell; three sons, Alvin, Leland and Nelson, all of Brillion, two brothers, William of Forest Junction and Emil of Appleton, three sisters, Miss Christina Wolfmeyer of Appleton, Mrs. J. E. Roehr of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Fred Zick of Seymour; and 13 grandchildren.
