She married John J. Zick at Woodville, Calumet Co., WI. in a religious ceremony performed by Rev. Runkel.
Her obituary in the "Brillion News" of 25 December, 1908 states:
"Mrs. J. Zick died last week at the age of 52 years, having survived her husband by many years. Decedent was a woman of thrift and refinement and her worth as mother and housewife is attested by the splendid family that survives to cherish her memory."
