Bernard J Strieker, 80 of Route 4, South Eighth, died Monday (May 26, 1968) at 3:30 a.m. in St Mary Hospital where he had been a patient since May 21.
Mr Strieker was born in Quincy, Oct 12, 1887, a son of Clement and Theresa Schonhoff Strieker.
He was married to Sarah Mary Denton, Nov. 3, 1914, in St Mary Catholic Church in Quincy.
He was a lifetime resident of Quincy.
Surviving are the widow; five daughters, seven sons, a brother 46 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons who died in infancy, a daughter, Lucille; two brothers, Clem and Joseph and two sister, Mrs Ann Reuther and Mrs Ann Horn.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm in the Duker funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
