William E Strieker, 73, of 1224 S 10th, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday (Sept 15, 1997) in his home.

Born Jan 1, 1924, in Quincy. Mr Striker was a son of Bernard and Sara Strieker Sr. He married Virginia Brinkley April 6, 1965, in St Boniface Catholic Church. She survives.

Mr Striker worked for Tuscarora Plastics Inc., formerly Foam Air Packaging Corp., for 20 years. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors also include two sons, four daughters, four brothers, three sisters, and nine grandchildren.

Mr Strieker was preceded in death by a son, Tom; a brother, Andy, and a sister, Millie.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Michael Kause. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.
