Mrs. Ingeborg Larsdotter (Qvammen) Hammer of Norway township died at her home Wednesday, January 24, 1917,
after a short sickness. She was born
in the Melhus District, Norway Europe,
6 July 1838.
In 1861, she was united in marriage
to Peder Hammer. To this union were
born eight children, of which three
sons and one daughter were born
in old country Norway and two
sons and two daughters were born in
America. Mr. Hammer is survived by four
sons, Peter, Lars, Ole and Alfred,
and three daughters, Mrs. J. R
Hugos; Mrs. E. M. Eastvedt, and
Carrie Ross, all residing near Norway,
Kans.
