Mary Scott, 86, died Monday, Jan. 20, 1992 in Wellington. Mrs. Scott was born in Arlie. Her parents were Levi and Nannie Payne Lawrence. She was married to Raymond B. Scott, August 3, 1923 at Hollis, OK. He preceded her in death March 9, 1954. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and by four brothers and three sisters, Jake Lawrence, Clair Lawrence, Ura Scott, Georgia Lemley, Robert Lawrence, Clayton Lawrence and Myrtle Forrest. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a lifetime resident of Childress and Collingsworth counties. Survivors are her daughter, Dorothy Summar of Buena Vista, AK; three sons, Dwane Scott of Longview, Harold Scott and Jerry Scott, both of Wellington; two sisters,, Florine Moore of Amarillo and Lucille West of Wellington; 8 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren.
