Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Wofford and Misses Betty and Mary Ruth Steadings all of Arkwright; three sons, Norman Dean of the U. S. Army in Germany and A. W. and John Henry of Arkwright; his mother Mrs. Elmar Steadings of Spartanburg; five sisters, Mrs. Mack James and Mrs. Clara Thompson of Spartanburg, Mrs. Raymond Cox and Mrs. Elford Fortenberry of Arkwright and Mrs. Elmer Richards of Walnut Grove; and two brothers, Edwin of Arkwright and Jack of Spartanburg.
The body is at the home.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the J. F. Floyd Mortuary.
