MILLINOCKET, July 3--Funeral services have been held at the Star of Sea church in East Boston, Mass., for Mrs. Leona (Legassey) Mosconi, 49, who died at a Boston hospital.
She was born in Van Buren and moved to Millinocket while very young. She attended Millinocket schools. She was the daughter of the late Maxim and Clarissa (DeRosier) Legassey.
Surviving are her husband, Peter Mosconi of Boston; two sons, Vaughn and John, of Boston; six daughters, Mrs. Corrine Rettmier, Mrs. Barbara Maloney and Miss Janet Mosoni, all of Boston, Mrs. Leona Casey, Mrs. Marcella Bucci, both of Malden, Mass., and Mrs. Paulette Collins of Gary, Ind.; six sisters, Mrs. Yvonne Thibodeau, East Millinocket, Mrs. Clara DeNuccio, Miami, Fla., Mrs. Lillian McMann of Delaware, Mrs. Ethelin Gilmartin of New York, Mrs. Maxine Logan of Bangor, Mrs. Nadia Tracey, Millinocket; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Burial was at Holy Cross cemetery, Malden, Mass.
