YVONNE MARIE THIBODEAU
EAST MILLINOCKET – Yvonne Marie Thibodeau, 94, died April 22, 1997, in an Orono nursing home. She was born Dec. 14, 1902, in Van Buren, the daughter of Maxime and Clarissa (Lizotte) Lagasse. She owned and operated The Dress Shoppe from her home in East Millinocket, for many years. She was a communicant of St. Peter's Catholic Church; a charter member of St. Anne's Circle, Daughters of Isabella; and was an avid bridge player and beano enthusiast. Surviving are one daughter, Patricia (Thibodeau) Adams of East Millinocket; two grandsons and their wives, Mark and Lisa LeGassey of Brunswick, Martin and Lulu LeGassey of Millinocket; three sisters, Claire DeNuccio, Ethelyn Montgomery and Nadia Althizer, all of Old Town; five great-grandchildren, John and Alex LeGassey of Brunswick, Martin Jr., Matthew and Molly LeGassey of Millinocket, several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church by the Rev. George Beaudet. Burial will be in East Millinocket Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the James G. Dowd Funeral Home, East Millinocket. St. Anne's Circle, Daughters of Isabella, will say the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
