Marie Stencel died at Weld County General Hospital in Greeley. She had resided in the Greeley area for the past 33 years. She was born at Hussenbach, Russia and married there Oct. 5 1906 to John Stencel, Sr. They observed their 52 wedding anniversary this year [1958]. The Stencels came to this country from Russia in 1907, first settling in the Loveland community and then moved to Greeley in 1925. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
At the time of her death survivors were, her husband and 9 children.
