LUEDENE TALLENT
Luedene Moore Tallent, 75, of Vardaman, Miss., died Thursday, July 6, 2000 at her home in Vardaman, Miss., Calhoun County. She was born July 20, 1924 in Calhoun County, Miss., the daughter of Claude and Era Witt Moore. She was a homemaker.
Funeral service was Saturday at 11 a.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce, Miss. with Brother Sherman Adams and Brother David Thompson officiating. Burial was in Rocky Mount Cemetery in the Reid Community. Pallbearers were Joe Tallent, Matt Easley, Johnny Easley, Danny Tutor, Standley Tutor and Toby Martin.
Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Smith, Starkville, Miss., Mary Bray, Vardaman, Miss., Judy Martin, Houston, Miss.; two sons, Harold Tallent, Vardaman, Miss., James Tallent, Vardaman, Miss.; four sisters, Mary Tutorr, Vardaman, Miss., Nellie Angle, Pittsboro, Miss., Jimmy Hawkins, Calhoun City, Miss., and Claudie Bell, Biloxi, Miss.: 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sonss, Charlie Tallent and Harley Tallent, and her husband, John Jesse Tallent
