FRED KLOKOW (d. 1962)

Funeral services for Fred Klokow, 74, retired Town of Herman farmer, who died early Monday at St. Nicholas Hospital following a heart attack at his home near Edwards, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John's United Church of Christ, Schwartzwald.
The Rev. Edmond Hennig, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family has announced establishment of a memorial fund for St. John's Church, of which Mr. Klokow was a member.
A son of the late Fred and Helen Klokow, he was born on a Herman farm, Dec. 5, 1887. He married Lucy Bramstedt, Sept. 26, 1913, following which the couple farmed on the Klokow homestead until retiring in 1957.
They had continued to reside there, renting out the farm since that time.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Karl and Frederick, R. 1, Cleveland, and James, Sheboygan; six daughters, Mrs. Alyard (Lucille) Reinke, Plymouth, Miss Dorothy at home, Mrs. Robert (Eleanor) Seifert, Sheboygan, Mrs. Joseph (Cora) Werstein, Milwaukee, Mrs. Robert (Marie) Behnke, Manitowoc and Mrs. Edward (Ethel) Moenning, R. 1, Cleveland; and 21 grandchildren.
He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. William Schoenecker, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Anna Wessel, Plymouth; and a brother, Walter, Howards Grove.Five brothers, a sister and grandchild preceded him in death.
