Mrs. Helen Klokow, 79, widow of the late Frederick Klokow, passed away Sunday morning at the home of her son, Fred, in the town of Herman, following a lingering illness.

The daughter of Christ and Christina Kegler, she was born on June 22, 1864, in the town of Herman, and her marriage to Frederick Klokow took place in February, 1883. The couple resided on a farm in the town of Herman since that time.

Survivors include four sons, John and William, Sheboygan; Fred on the homestead and Walter, Howards Grove; three daughters, Mrs. Otto (Alma) Braun, Howards Grove, Mrs. William (Hulda) Schoenecker, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Julius (Annie) Wessel, Plymouth; a sister, Mrs. Anna Broege, Milwaukee, and a brother, August Kegler, Milwaukee; 26 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. One grandchild, Arthur Klokow and one great grandchild, Elmer Schild, Jr., are serving in the armed forces.

Her husband, a daughter, Eleanora, and three sons, Oscar, Arno and Herman, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at St. Johannes Evangelical and Reformed Church at Schwartzwald in the town of Herman. The Rev. William Schultz will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
