Walter A Klokow Sheboygan Press September 28, 1970

Walter A. Klowkow, 77, Howards Grove-Millersville, died early today at his home following a brief Illness. He made his home with a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Scheibl. He was born Feb. 28, 1893, in the town of Herman, a son of the late Frederick and Helen Kegler Klokow. On Oct. 7, 1916 he married to former Elona Kirrchheck. She died in January 1945. In his former years he was a mason, and later worked at the Millersville Box Co., retiring several years ago. Mr. Klokow was a lifelong member of St. John United Church of Christ at Schwartzwald.
Surviving are a son, Arthur, Sheboygan; two daughters, Mrs. Elroy (Norma) Grunewald
and Mrs.Scheibl (Gertrude), of Howards Grove-Millersville area; five grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Anna Wessel of Plymouth. Preceding him in death were three sisters and six brothers.
Funeral services will be at St. John church, Schwartzwald the Rev. Dean Miller, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
