Mrs. Otto Braun, 63, of the Town of Herman, died early today at her farm home, a mile and one-half northeast of Howards Grove, after a lingering illness.
Nee Alma Klokow, she was born Nov. 11, 1889, at Edwards in the Town of Herman. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church in Schwartzwald.
Since her marriage to Otto Braun at St. John's Church in Schwartzwald on Dec. 26, 1910, the couple spent their entire life on the homestead farm.
Mrs. Braun was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Herman and was affiliated with the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Survivors are her husband; a son, Roland, on the homestead; two daughters, Mrs. Rueben (Roma) Vandoske, Cleveland, and Mrs. Willis (Rogene) Manz, on the homestead; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. William Schoenecker, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Anna Wessel, Plymouth, and three brothers, Fred of Edwards, Walter of Howards Grove, and William, Sheboygan.
Two sons, her parents, one sister and four brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Town Herman with the Rev. Otto Heier, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Sheboygan Falls.
The body will lie in state at the Walter H. Ahrens Funeral Home at Howards Grove from 2 p.m. Monday and at the church from Tuesday noon until the hour of services.
