DOROTHY B. KLOKOW

Dorothy Klokow, age 87, a resident of the Sheboygan County Comprehensive Health Care Facility for 37 years and Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility the past nine months, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, April 7, 2003.

She was born Jan. 13, 1916, in the Town of Herman, a daughter of the late Fred Lucy Bramstedt Klokow. She lived on the family farm until 1965 when she took up residence at the Sheboygan County Comprehensive Facility. She was baptized at St. John United Church of Christ Schwartzwald. Even though Dorothy was institutionalized for half of her life, she maintained her dignity and was a happy and loving person.

Survivors include two brothers, Frederick (Marie) Klokow of Edwards, Wis., and James (Carol) Klokow of Sheboygan; one sister, Cora Wetstein of Milwaukee; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Karl and four sisters, Lucille Reinke, Eleanor Seifert, Marie Behnke and Ethel Moenning.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 9, at 1 p.m. at the Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Rebecca Johnston, pastor of St. John U.C.C. Schwartzwald,
is officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at Schwartzwald.
