ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. - Vivian Prescott Porter died Oct. 6, 2003, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 13, 1924, in Crystal, the daughter of Raymond C. and Iva A. Desmond Prescott.

She is survived by her husband, Harris O. Porter; son, Michael H. Porter of Zephyrhills, Fla.; daughter, Darleen L. Lougee; granddaughter, Constance Lougee Thorne; two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly Thorne, all of Brewer; sisters, Verna MacArthur and Hilda Clukey of Island Falls, Doris York of Crystal, Hazel Stillings of San Antonio, Texas, and Patricia Mayer of East Lebanon; brothers, Kenneth and Raymond of Crystal; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters, Marion Sewell, Dorothy Porter, Margaret Anderson and Rita MacArthur; and a brother, Ronald. Interment will be in the Island Falls Cemetery (Bangor Daily News 10/7/2003)
