CRYSTAL – Kenneth F. Prescott Sr., 78, died unexpectedly Oct. 29, 2012, at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born August 6, 1934, in Crystal, ME, son of Ray C. and Iva (Desmond) Prescott.
Kenneth was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a man who enjoyed staying busy and working. His careers included cedar mill operations, courier driver, potato farming, working in sales in the fire industry, and co-founded K&T Environmental Equipment.
Upon his retirement, he enjoyed keeping busy by gardening, landscaping, and wood crafting. He was a man who took great pride in anything he did and it showed through his workmanship. He was well known for his beautiful front lawn filled with many yard shadows which he displayed.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jeannette (Raymond) Prescott; three children, Kenneth Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Presque Isle, Lisa and husband, Mike Harvey, of Patten, Debbie and husband, Patrick Small, of Island Falls; grand-children, Kenneth III, Monica and husband, Matthew, Amanda, Derek and wife, Audrey, Courtney and husband, Brady, Lucas, and Shelby; great-grandchildren, Collin, Mason, and Jaron; four sisters, Doris York, Verna MacArthur, Hazel Stillings, and Hilda Clukey; and former son-in-law Gerald Violette of Crystal. He was predeceased by his parents, six sisters, and three brothers.
Kenneth took great pride in his family and loved them dearly along with his friends. He really enjoyed each and every one of them and as his family grew with new great grandchildren his eyes would light up with delight. They were all loves of his life.
Per his wishes there will be no services.
