On 31 March, 1895, Otho S. Guy, age 21, a Farmer, married Ella Cora Barnes, age 17. Otho stated he was born in Accomack County, the son of John W. and Margaret E. Guy. Ella was born in Accomack County, the daughter of George W. Barnes and Isabella Bundick. The wedding was performed at Locust Mount by John Wesley Andros Elliot, a Methodist minister.

They had 10 children
