Josephine A. Saxe
Josephine A. Saxe, 65, of Curry Run, R.D.1 Mahaffey, died Sunday April 11, 1993 at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Jan. 9, 1928 in Curry Run, she was a daugher of Otis and Vada [sic] (Johnston) Lines.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George R. Saxe, and three brothers, Joe Lines, Richard Lines and infant brother Robert Lines.
She is survived by a son, James O. Saxe of Mahaffey R.D., a brother, William Lines of Grampian, and these sisters: Esther Derrick of Curry Run; Neil [sic] Clyde of Curry Run; Louise Heaps of Mahaffey; Marion Wall of Warren; a sister-in-law, Luella Lines, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was a protestant by faith and a member of the Curry Run Methodist Church.
Funeral services wil be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the T.G. McCracken Funeral Home, Mahaffey, with the Rev. Jack Williams and Rev. Gordon Snyder officiating
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until the time of services. Interment will be in Friends Cemetery, Grampian.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
