MAHAFFEY - Nellie M. Clyde, 90, of Mahaffey died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at her home.
Born July 20, 1919, at Curry Run, she was a daughter of Otis Lines and Zada I. (Johnston) Lines.
She wed Francis A. Best, who preceded her in death. She later wed Theodore W. Clyde, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Clyde is survived by two sons, Theodore R. Clyde and his wife, Pam, and William O. Clyde and his wife, Mary, all of Curry Run; two daughters, Carol (Best) Spencer and Nancy (Best) Engle, both of Bells Landing; one sister, Esther Derrick of Clearfield; eight grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
