I was a police officer for 33 years and retired in 2011 after 20 years as the Chief of Police in Brockway, PA. I now work for the Jefferson County Department of Emergency Services, as a 911 Center Shift Supervisor. My father and mother were Ted Johnson and June (Bartlebaugh) Johnson of Greensburg; my grandparents were Charles Johnson and Virginia (Kerr) Johnson, and Ben and Geraldine (Pennington) Bartlebaugh of Arcadia, PA. My wife, Teresa's parents were John and Dorothy (Pinchock) Miksich of Brockway. I have four daughters, one son, three grandsons and one granddaughter. Hobbies include fly fishing and genealogical research. Lifetime member of the Northwestern Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association, Secretary of the Fraternal Order of Police Jefferson Lodge #68, Garfield Lodge #559 F.&A.M., Coudersport Consistory, and Brockway Area Historical Society.
Please feel free to email me with any tips and I would be happy to assist anyone in need of help. I'm always working on some genealogy detective work. I do not subscribe to any pay web sites for research, there are many ways to do it for free. For all of those, whom have sent additions, corrections, photos, transfers or just kind words of thanks...I thank you for your continued interest. Email: [email protected]
