MRS. J.L. (LURA) HARRISON

Mrs. J.L. (Lura) Harrison, 84, died Thursday, Jan. 1981, at Kelling Hospital in Waverly.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Campbell-Lewis Chapel. The Rev. Vernon Maxted will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the chapel. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church.
Born July 26, 1896 in Shackelford, MO., she was the daughter of the late Edwin M. and Mary Lacy Hume Hutcherson. On Aug. 29, 1915 she was married to John Lucian Harrison. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1944. Mrs. Harrison was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marshall and had been a resident of the Riverview Heights Nursing Home in Waverly for the last two and one half years, moving from Marshall.

Survivors include four children, Everette L. Harrison of Denver, Colo.; Elwayne M, Harrison of Waverly, Wilbur P. (Dude) Harrison of Marshall; Mrs. Donald L. (Mary Ruth) Norvell of St Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph L. Hutcherson of Marshall; Milton Hutcherson of Stockton, Calif.; one sister, Louise Craig of Modesto, Calif.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, one brother and two sisters.
