Milton Hutcherson, 84, of Modesto, Calif., died Sunday, Aug. 26 in Modesto. Arrangements are incomplete but burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Hughson, Calif. Mr. Hutcherson was the son of Edwin and Mamie Hutcherson. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Clifton Craig of Mill Valley, Calif., and one brother, Ralph Hutcherson of Marshall.
He worked on the family farm in Saline County, MO until a severe case of heat stroke left him unable to do this work in the Missouri summers. He then moved to Los Angeles where he drove a wholesale bread delivery truck. After retirement he moved to the Modesto/Stockton area of California where he owned a small farm where he would rehabilitate cattle bought from auction. The rehabilitated cattle would then be sold at auction hopefully for a profit.
