Loris Glenn Ellers was the eleventh and last child of George Washington Eller(s) and his wife Charlotte Miller.

He married Helena Hawkins and had two daughters, but was later divorced.

OBITUARY

Loris G. Ellers of Route 5, Blueville died last night at Grafton City Hospital on his 52nd birthday. He had been ill since Monday.

Born February 11, 1903 at Shirley, Tyler county, he was a son of the late George W. and Charlotte Miller Ellers. He had been married to the former Helena Hawkins.

A veteran of World War II, he had been with the railroad battalion, 711, Persian Gulf Command in Iran, and in connection with the signal crew of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. He later was employed part-time at Grafton Baking Company.

Survivors include two children, Mrs. Jean Munza of Montana Mines; Mrs. Ruth Ann Deavers, Kingwood; three brothers, Peter Ellers, Clarksburg; W. C. Ellers, and Emery Ellers, Grafton; and three sisters, Mrs. C. E. Hunt, Kingwood, Mrs. John Green, Bellfontaine, Ohio; and Mrs. Ada Bolyard, Route 2, Grafton.

He was a Baptist church member and had lived in Taylor county most of his life.

Service will be at 1 P M Tuesday at Bartlett Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry T. Rowe will officiate and burial will follow in the National Cemetery.
