Ollie V. Bender, 80, long-time resident of Livingston, died unexpectedly this morning in the Park hospital. She suffered a heart attack Thursday night.
The body is at the Franzen mortuary. Funeral arrangements are pending.
She was born Ollie Cole in 1875 in Missouri where she received her early education.
When a young girl, she accompanied her parents to Montana by wagon train and had made her home here since that time.
Mrs. Bender was a past matron of Orient chapter No. 6, Order of Eastern Star. She served as matron of the chapter in 1914.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert Cole of Belgrade and Irving Cole of Park City, and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Mildred Teichert of Mission creek and William F. Poorman of Des Moines, Iowa, whom she reared.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Cora Gilbert and Mrs. Nona Poorman, and two brothers, Frank Cole and William F. (Billy) Cole.
