Heart Trouble Proves Fatal to Mrs. J. Harvey
Prentiss, Jan. 24 - (special) - Mrs. Mary Harvey, wife of Joseph Harvey, residing east of Prentiss, died Friday morning at the family residence after an attack of heart trouble. Mrs. Harvey was a daughter of the late Jefferson Magee, well known citizen of the Bassfield community. She was the stepmother of Forrest Harvey, former treasurer of Jeff Davis County. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Paul Booth in the Blount Cemetery, north of Carson. Surviving are her husband; three brothers, Jeff Magee, Professor; Ira Magee, Bassfield; Laurin Magee, Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Reyner Wilks, Columbia, and Mrs. Amanda McDonald, Hattiesburg.
