She was born in Rockbridge County May 23, 1915, daughter of the late Charles E. and Lillie Roadcap Diehl.
Ms. Diehl was a retired office worker at Waynesboro Nurseries, a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church, past president of the Weslyn-Guild and attended New Hope School and Trinity Lutheran Church School in Crimora.
Survivors include six sisters, Nellie V. Carroll, Edith J. Hutchens and Janet I. Patience, all of Staunton; Wanda D. Lester and Ina McCormick of Waynesboro; and Lillian D. Farrar of Richmond; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Warren O. Diehl in 1990.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight in the Waynesboro Chapel of Etter Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Main Street United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Amos S. Rideout.
A private graveside service will be held earlier in the day at Augusta Memorial Park.
The family requests that contributions be made to the Waynesboro First Aid Crew, P.O. Box 1427, Waynesboro, Va., 22980.
