Mrs. Lucretia M. Ruckstuhl, widow of J. George Ruckstuhl, died in the family residence, 614 East Broadway, yesterday afternoon.
Mrs. Ruckstuhl was a member of the Brown family of Central Illinois. Her mother was a Gorham, direct decendant of Stephen Gorham, Ell Brown, her father’s brother, was one of the first Governors of California.
She is survived by three sisters and one brother, all of Illinois; three daughters, Mrs. R. Knight, Mrs. H. C. Ewald and Mrs. F. W. Quast all of Louisville; five grandchildren, Thomas E. Knight, John Quast, Jr., Mrs. Percy Parsons, Maj. George R. Ewald and Henry P. Ewald, and one great-grandchild, Thomas Knight, Jr.
The funeral will be held in Cralle’s Chapel at 10 o’clock to-morrow morning. Burial will be in Cave Hill cemetery.
