The funeral services for Charles Linebrink, popular farmer of Kline, who died at his home Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock from acute gastritis, were held Friday afternoon from the Jones and Peterson mortuary, Rev. Scharrar of the Baptist Church officiating. Interment was made in Greenmount. Mr. Linebrink was born February 12, 1869 in Evansport, Ohio. He farmed near Rocky Ford, Colorado where his baby daughter (error) was buried 10 years ago. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Luella B. Linebrink and a daughter, June Emmaline, 12 years old, and three brothers: John, Michigan; Isaac, Illinois and Jesse Linebrink, Indiana. He farmed in the Marvel district for the last 10 years and leaves a host of friends to mourn his loss. - The Durango News, October 17, 1930.
