John Linebrink, son of Frederick and Mary Linebrink was born in Defiance county Ohio, April 7, 1861 and departed this life at his home in Woodbridge Township November 19, 1938, aged 77 years, 7 months and 12 days. On December 12, 1894, he was united in marriage to Dora Olive Kline and to this union were born seven children.

Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Olive Morgan, and Mary Jagger of Camden, Clarice Lint of Hillsdale, Valeria Vincent of Jackson, and Florence at home; two sons, John of Camden and Lewis at home. He is also sur­vived by eleven grandchildren, two brothers, Isaac of Grant Park, Ill., and Jesse of Rochester, Ind. besides many other relatives and friends. He received his education in the Defiance county school and later he taught school in the winter months and worked at his vocation as a contractor and builder the remainder of the year. At the age of seventeen, he was united with the United Brethren at Tiffin River, Ohio. When he moved to his present farm in Woodbridge Township 1908, he transferred his church relation to the West Woodbridge United Brethren Church.

Services were held at the West Woodbridge United Brethren church, conducted by Rev. C.F. Mansberger and Rev. C.L. Smith. Interment was made in the Woodbridge Cemetery. -Hillsdale News, November 26, 1938
