Funeral services have been set Friday, Dec. 23 at 10 a.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel for June Emeline Keown, a lifelong resident of this area. Interment will follow in the Greenmount Cemetery in Durango. June Keown was born to Charles and Lulabelle Mason Linebrink on March 20, 1916 in Mountain Grove, Mo. She worked as a checker at City Market for many years. She passed away at Presbyterian hospital in Albuquerque on Dec. 19 at the age of 72. Her survivors are: one daughter, Sandy Ashley of Farmington; her son-in-law, Robert Ashley of Farmington; two grandchildren, Patrick and Katie Ashley of Farmington.
