He was born July 27, 1924 to Fred E. and Clara (Schwarz) Woehrle at Lexington. Arnold attended school in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1942. On November 22, 1943 he married Ruth Schneider, and to this union four children were born.
Arnold began to drive truck in 1941, in 1945 he established Woehrle Transfer, Inc. which he owned at the time of his death. Even though retiring in 1995 he enjoyed maintaining an active part in the business.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington and the Nebraska Motor Carriers.
Survivors include: his wife Ruth, Lexington; son Richard (JoAnn) Woehrle, Lexington; daughters Carolyn (Larry) Parker, Gothenburg, Linda (Paul) Christensen, Broomfield, CO., and Cindy (Mike) Hendricks, Lexington; brothers Harry (June) Woehrle, Lexington and Roger (Marie) Woehrle, North Glenn, CO., 10 grandchildren, Kim Dewey, Tracy Dixon, Barbara Parker, Danielle and Chad Woehrle, David and Angela Christensen, Brian, Jennifer and Matthew Hendricks; three great-grandchildren, Tyrell Dewey, Alex Parker and Latasha Albertson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Eva Dore and Lydia Newton; and brother Clarence,
