Eva Wilhelmina dore was born June 21, 1922 in rural Gosper County to Fred and Clara (Schwarz) woehrle. she died at her home in Lexington, Nebraska on tuesday, February 2, 1993.
She was baptized into the Christian faith on July 2, 1922 and was confirmed may 16, 1937. She grew up in the Lexington area and attended Lexington Public schools. Eva and her brother, Harry, started the H & E Root Beer stand in 1947 in Lexington.
she married jim dore November 22, 1947, in Lexington. the union was blessed with four children: Patricia, Ronald, David, and Janice.
Eva was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Lexington, until the time of her death. She was active in the Trinity Lutheran tape ministry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim in 1987, one brother, Clarence, and one granddaughter, Kelsey Traill.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia and husband Jim Traill of Holdrege, and Janice and husband Allen Noble of Lexington; two sons, Ronald of Lexington, David and wife Valerie of Lexington; one sister, Lydia and husband Marvin Newton of Lexington; three brothers, Arnold and wife Ruth Woehrle, Harry and wife June Woehrle, both of Lexington, and Roger and wife Marie Woehrle of North Glenn, Colorado; and six grandchildren, Stacia and Mike Milius of Hildrege, Jamie Traill of Holdrege, Justin, Emily and Seth Noble of Lexington.
Eva was a devoted Christian who worshipped and served her Lord faithfully. We look forward to the joyful reunion of heaven.
