Daughter of Fletcher Cornelius Case & Dorothy Belle Leake. Wife of William Elmer Manuel (ma.17 Apr. 1935).

MADISON - Mrs. Estelle Case Manuel, 85, of Case School Road, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, at Morehead Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow In Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Manuel was born in Rockingham County. She was a member of Mayodan Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from Washington Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Manuel ; brother, Clayton Case; and three sisters, Doris Justice, Wavie Lemons and Geraldine Calhoun.

Survivors include her sons, Roy Manuel and wife, Frances, Robert Manuel and wife, Arbenia of Madison; brother, Paul Case of Madison; sisters, Elsie Mabe and Gladys Coble of Greensboro, Hilda Sapp of Wilmington, Majesta Neese of High Point, Margie Black of Browns Summit and Josephine Smith of Madison; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at Colonial Funeral Home and other times at the home of Robert Manuel , 263 Case School Road, Madison.
