JAMESTOWN-Edith Case "Dake" Neese, 95, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020.
She was born on March 8, 1924 in Madison, NC, to the late F.C. and Dottie Belle Leak Case. A resident of this area most of her life, she retired from the Jamestown Middle School Cafeteria and was a charter member of Jamestown Church of God. Dake enjoyed crocheting, reading and following the news and politics. Her true love and passion was spending time with her family and taking care of her cats. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her husband, Garland Neese; her brothers, Paul and Clayton Case; her sisters, Doris Justice, Estelle Manuel, Gladys Coble, Elsie Mabe, Wavie Lemons, Hilda Sapp, Geraldine Calhoun, and Majorie Black.
She is survived by her children, Peggy Cranford and her companion, Roger, Jerry Neese and his wife, Margaret, Shirley Snow and her husband, Sam, Kathy Faulkner and her husband, David, Ginger Barber, Roger Calhoun and his wife, Kathy; sister, Josephine Smith; her grandchildren, Michael Snow, Matthew Snow, David Snow and his wife, Nicki, Samuel Snow, Bradley Miller and his wife, Shane, Alicia Mireles and her husband, Jeremy, Karen Redmon and husband, Dalton, Jerry Neese, Jr., Mark neese and wife, Jennifer, Lori Singleton and 15 great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Dake's life will be held on Saturday morning, February 15, at 11 o'clock, from the graveside at Guilford Memorial Park. Her Family will receive fiends Friday evening, February 14, from 6 until 8 o'clock, at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
