Henry Lindsey, 65, Dies at His Home

Henry Wilson Lindsey, 323 Thompson court, died at 10:45 a.m. yesterday at his home following a lingering illness. He was a former employe of the International Harvester company. Mr. Lindsey, 65, had been a resident of Canton for the past 20 years, coming here from Ipava.

He was born Aug. 23, 1878, in Ipava, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Lindsey. He married Louise Jane Swise at Ipava Dec. 30, 1900. She died May 5 of this year. Surviving are two sons, Vern E. of Canton and Don Eugene in the army at Midland, Texas; two grandchildren; three brothers, Elmer of Petersburg, Alonzo of Ipava and Charles of Astoria. One son, Richard V. preceded him in death. Mr. Lindsey was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Murphy Memorial Home with the Rev. Charles Ball officiating. Burial will be in Ipava cemetery.

Friends may call at the residence after 2 p.m. tomorrow.
