Mrs. Jane Lindsey Dies At Her Home, Rites Saturday

Mrs. Jane Lindsey, who would have observed her 61st birthday anniversary on Mother's Day, died at 8:15 p.m. last night at her home, 323 Thompson court following an illness of three months. Mrs. Lindsey had been a resident of Canton for 22 years.

Mrs. Lindsey was born in Smithfield, May 9, 1882, a daughter of Charles and Della White Swise. On Dec. 30, 1900, she married Henry Lindsey who survivies.

Also surviving are two sons, Verne of Canton and Don who is stationed with the U. S. army in Texas; two grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Swise of Wataga, Ill., and John Swise of Cuba; and three sisters, Mrs. Doll Chenoweth of Canton; Mrs. Oliver Smith of Avon, and Mrs. Rosa Perkins of Lewiston. One child preceded her in death.

Mrs. Lindsey was a member of the Cedar camp Royal Neighbors and the Woman's Relief Corps.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Murphy Memorial Home. The Rev. Charles Hall will officiate. Burial will be in the Ipava cemetery. Friends may call at the residence.
