Hosea P. Lindsey of Industry was born in Ipava on March 1, 1857, and died in the Holmes hospital in Macomb on March 24, 1926 at the age of 69 years and 23 days. Mr. Lindsey had suffered for three weeks with pneumonia.

On Dec. 25, 1878 Mr. Lindsey was married to Sualo Smith who survives him. They have resided in Industry for a number of years. Mr. Lindsey was a member of the M. W. A. of Table Grove.

Besides his wife surviving him are four children, Glen and William of Industry, Mrs. Hila Cash of Adair and Mrs. May Leftridge of Table Grove, one brother Marion of Walleston, Okla., four half-brothers, Charlie, Henry, Elmer and Alonso, and one sister, Mrs. Talitha Witty, of Roadhouse, Ill. Also five grandchildren and one great-grand-child. Three children, two brothers and two sisters are deceased.

Funeral services will be held from the Christian church of Ipava at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in Ipava.
