Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Caldwell, Ky., for Mrs. Laura M. Spence, 74, who died Friday at her home, Box 222, Minneola Road, Hebron. Burial was in Caldwell Cemetery.

The Catherman Funeral Home, Ludlow, was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Spence leaves four sons, Richard and Everett, both at home; Glenn, River Road, Bromley, and Walter, Columbus, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Melvina Mings, Knifley, Ky.; Mrs. Ada Mitchell, Harrison, Ind., and Miss Mattie Spence, at home; one brother, Jack Long, Oxford, Pa.; 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
