Elkhart – Mr. Chas. H. Henschel died, last Saturday morning, at his home in the town of Rhine. Death came quite suddenly as he had been sick but a few days. He was laid to rest in the Russell cemetery, Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Henschel was born in Saxony, Germany, on Sept. 13, 1826, and came with his parents to this country in 1849 and settled in the town of Germantown but soon after moved to Sheboygan County.

Later he was married to Miss Rosa Conrad who survives him with eight children, five of whom are married, Adoph, Mrs. Wm Miers and Mrs. W. Brieski, of Stockbridge, Mrs. John Kessel, of Russel, Mrs. John F. Kramer, of Elkhart and Gustave, John and Jacob who are still at home. He also leaves three brothers and many friends.
