Born in the town of Rhine on the Henschel homestead now occupied by Alvin Henschel, he was married to Anna Held on Dec. 17, 1908. and she passed away in 1935. The couple resided in Oconto, Milwaukee, Tampa, Fla and on a farm west of Kiel, and in late years he made his home with two sisters, Mrs. William Brieske of Elkhart Lake and Mrs. William Meyer of Chilton.
Survivors are three sisters. Mm. John Kessel of the town of Russell, Mrs. William Brieske and Mrs. William Mever: and one brother, Gustave, of the town of Russell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. at St. Paul's Evangelical Reformed church in the town of Russell with the Rev. K. J. Ernst officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
