Manito, IL - Raymond Dale Brinker, 63, of 12321 Sunset Drive died at 11:25 a.m. Sunday, June 30, 1996, at his home.
Born Dec. 25, 1932, in East Peoria to Frederick Raymond and Evelyn Petticord Brinker, he married Leola "Lee" Johnson on Dec. 29, 1978, in Montgomery. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Evelyn Freed of East Peoria; one son, David Anthony Brinker, and one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Tracy) Branstetter, both of Manito; two stepsons, Mark W. Bramble of Peoria and Michael L. Bramble of Piscataway, N.J.; four brothers, Carl, Harley, David and Alan, all of East Peoria, and Ronald F. of Chillicothe; one sister, Mrs. Bert (Barbara Jean) Bogard of Goodfield; and two grandchildren.
He was a Korean War Navy veteran. He worked at Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria for 40 years, retiring in 1990 as a maintenance supervisor.
